• Serial Number: JT03052955• Made in Japan 2003.
• Acquired May, 2004, as a prize from Fender Europe competition.
• Construction: Chambered mahogany body with carved maple top, 3 piece mahogany neck.
• Colour: Black top, walnut stain back and neck.
• Pickups: DeArmond Dynasonic reissues.
• Apparently from a short run of oddball '57 reissue DuoJets with a few post-'58 features, like the space control bridge and a fingerboard with neo-classical markers.
• Modifications: Bridge pickup turned around (polepieces on the neck side) for a slightly fuller and mellower tone. Original strap buttons replaced with Schaller strap locks.
