Rickenbacker 4001
• Serial number: NJ6323.• Made in USA, October 1974.
• Acquired 1985 from Kitarapaja, Helsinki.
• Construction: Maple body. 3 piece maple neck through-body with rosewood fingerboard. Frets removed and slots filled with light colored wood.
• Colour: see-through red. White 3-ply pickguard (non-original)
• Original strap buttons replaced with Schaller straplocks.
• Pickups: Original single coil (neck), DiMarzio Alchemy 101 humbucker (bridge).
• Original controls replaced with a master volume and 4-position rotary swich (bridge pu - both in parallel - both in series - neck pu).
• Tuned (from low to high) B - E- A - D; the B string routed through the body, Fender style, to get more even response.
